“We had a brilliant day on a Private Tour with Bjork. It was particularly realistic as Bjork and her family have lived on Heimay for generations and she was able to tell us stories which have been told to her by her family, especially around what happened when the volcano erupted 50 years ago.
We toured the island by car visiting places you would not find yourself, including the best place to watch puffins.
We visited the brilliant Eldheimar Museum built around a house that had been excavated out of the volcanic ash.
The highlight was a guided walk to the top of the Volcano, this was done at our pace - the views were amazing.
The day was truly tailor made based around what we wanted to do and our own abilities
